Balloon dilation of the eustachian (auditory) tube is an innovation in the technology of treatment of chronic and obstructive dysfunction of the Eustachian tube.
Under endoscopic control, the NAVILLOON-E balloon catheter is placed into the Eustachian tube by means of a special tool that prevents its advance into the bone part, saline is pumped into the balloon and inflates it.
The device maintains a pressure of up to 12 bar with a maximum cylinder diameter of 6 mm, which is sufficient to achieve the effect of dilation. After that, the balloon returns to its original state, the system is removed from the auditory tube.
